Crayvallac® PA3X20 by Arkema is pre-activated amide wax dispersed in mixture of xylene and alcohols. Used in industrial wood finishes like PU (alkyd or acrylic based), nitrocellulose and acid curing. Suitable for post-addition to solvent-based industrial coatings. Crayvallac® PA3X20 provides very good control of sedimentation and sag. Easy to incorporate. Imparts shear-thinning rheology with thixotropic viscosity recovery.
