IBOA (Anstar) by Anstar is a high-Tg monofunctional acrylate monomer with a hydrophobic, bicyclic isobornyl structure. It is used in a wide range of high performance applications, including coatings. It offers a combination of low viscosity, low odor, and good toughness, along with excellent water and heat resistance.
  • It is particularly effective as a reactive diluent in radiation-curable systems, such as hard surface coatings and structural adhesives, and is also used in polyacrylic polyols, inks, and photosensitive polymers.
  • It delivers strong adhesion, low cure shrinkage, and good weatherability while maintaining flexibility.
  • IBOA (Anstar) has a shelf life of 12 months.
