TEXIDRI™ CALCIUM 5% T by allnex is an auxiliary, sacrificial, calcium tallate drier for paints prone to loss of dry. It is a cost-effective grade and is used in combination with zirconium to replace lead drier.
- It is also used for coating applications and to control blooming of long oil pentaerythritol alkyds and to reduce hazing in lead (drier) based paints.
- It is an effective pigment wetter and improves both grind and tinter acceptance.
- The recommended usage levels are 0.03-0.15% and 0.05-0.1% metal on resin solids.
- TEXIDRI™ CALCIUM 5% T has a shelf life of 730 days.
