SETAQUA® 8800

SETAQUA® 8800 by allnex is a multi-purpose, surfactant-free, aqueous dispersion of self-crosslinking acrylic polymers. It is used in sealers, primers and topcoats for furniture and decorative applications. It possesses a reduced carbon footprint based on a mix of mass balance bio-monomers and recycled monomers. It provides excellent hardness, fast drying, good sandability and chemical resistance.

• In trim paint formulations, it displays good blocking, excellent open time and flow properties with remarkable hand-cream resistance.
• It is free of aromatics and is safe for use in toys & children furniture.
• Due to its small particle size, varnishes based on SETAQUA® 8800 exhibit good in-can clarity and a solvent-borne like appearance of the dry coating.
• It is recommended for air- or forced drying interior pigmented and non-pigmented wood finishes for the furniture industry.
• It is also suitable for OPV or print receptive primers for paper-based label-stock showing good humidity and fat resistance.
• It has a shelf life of 365 days.
