ADDITOL® XL 6594 by allnex is a cationic, high molecular wetting and dispersing agent for inorganic and organic pigments. It is APEO-, aromatic-, and NMP-free grade with low energy consumption. It shortens dispersing time and improves gloss levels.
- Re-flocculation is prevented through steric stabilization and flood and floatfree colors are obtained, especially when blends of pigments are used.
- It shows wide compatibility in different solvent borne resins systems, such as acrylic polyols (APO) for vehicle refinish and industrial coatings, thermoplastic acrylates (TPA), alkyds and OH functional polyesters, aldehyde resin for pigment pastes and epoxy resins.
- It is used in direct grinds together with resins as well as in pigment pastes based on grinding resins.
- Recommended dosage level is 3.0-5.0% (for titanium dioxide), 10.0-20.0% (inorganic pigments), 30.0-60.0% (organic pigments) and 80.0-100.0% (carbon black).
- ADDITOL® XL 6594 has a shelf life of 730 days.
