ADDITOL® XL 6583

ADDITOL® XL 6583 by allnex is a dispersing agent for paints with a sensitive cure mechanism (e.g., acid or base-catalyzed). It stabilizes primary pigment particles by steric stabilization as well as electrostatic repulsion. It decreases mill base viscosity, especially in formulations with high pigment loading. It can be used for all kinds of industrial coating systems because of its broad range of compatibility. It possesses active content and high effectiveness.
  • It offers gloss improvement, excellent color stabilization, anti-floating (rub-out), and anti-sedimentation effect.
  • This extremely hydrophobic polymer allows improved corrosion-, water-, humidity-, and weather resistance.
  • It is suitable for radiation-curing systems, solvent-free and low-VOC formulations.
  • It is highly recommended for ACURE® technology-2 pack epoxy resins (solvent-borne and 100% solids), high solid acrylic resins and melamine-cured high bake systems.
  • The recommended dosage level is 1-5% for inorganic pigments and/or extenders and 5-30% for organic pigments.
  • ADDITOL® XL 6583 has a shelf life of 730 days.
