ADDITOL® XL 255 N DISP (Old name: ADDITOL® XL 255 N) by allnex is an electroneutral wetting and dispersing agent. It reduces flocculation in common organic and inorganic pigments used in air drying systems. It provides increased color strength and gloss of coatings.
- It shortens the grinding time of pigments and prevents settling of pigments and extenders fairly.
- It can be used in solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems diluted with white spirit.
- ADDITOL® XL 255 N DISP is used in wood preservative products, reactive alkyd/melamine resin stoving paints and two-component polyurethane coatings.
- The recommended usage level is 0.2-2.0% for inorganic and 1.0-5.0% for organic pigments.
- In the case of mixed pigments, the addition of 0.5-3% is recommended based on pigment.
- It has a shelf life of 730 days.
