Afcona -6230 by Afcona Additives is aliphatic polyether with acidic groups that acts as anionic wetting and dispersing agent for inorganic pigments and fillers. Helps to improve the color acceptance. Increases the pigment loadings in the mill bases or in pigment concentrates. Afcona -6230 offers better rheology and improved gloss. It can be used in all solvent-based and solvent-free industrial and decorative coatings. It is especially suitable for wetting, dispersing and stabilizing inorganic pigments as well as fillers in solventfree epoxies as well as polyurethanes, like flooring or pipe-line coatings. Addition and dosage: 1-3% based on fillers and inorganic pigments, 5-7% based on organic pigments.
