Afcona -4050 by Afcona Additives is a high molecular weight modified polyurethane polymer that acts as a dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. Has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance. Offers improved gloss and DOI, reduced flooding problems, higher color strength as well as lower viscosity. Afcona -4050 is used in general industrial where quality requirements are not so high as in OEM and coil coating. Thus, it mainly is used in polyurethane, epoxy, NC, and general industrial baking paints. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: TiO2 : 2 - 3%, Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%, Organic pigments : 20 - 40%, Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%.
