Afcona -4009

Afcona -4009 by Afcona Additives modified polyacrylate polymer that acts as a polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of pigments. Due to its particularly good combination of price as well as performance, it is a very attractive product to substitute conventional wetting and dispersing agents in all kind of coating systems. Afcona -4009 can be used as post adding additive to correct flooding and floating in all solvent-based paints. If used in mill bases as co-grinding dispersant, the anti-flooding and floating property is also good. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient of dispersant on pigment: TiO2 : 2 – 3%, Other inorganic pigments : 2 – 5%, Organic pigments : 20 – 40%, Carbon blacks : 20 – 50%.
