Afcona -4000 by Afcona Additives is a high molecular weight modified polyurethane polymer. Acts as a dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. Can be used to substitute the previous version of polyurethane dispersant, such as AFCONA- 4046, AFCONA- 4047 and AFCONA-4050. Afcona -4000 is used in baking paint that based on alkyd, acrylic and saturated polyester. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: TiO2: 2-3%, other inorganic pigments: 2-4%, organic pigments: 20-40% and carbon blacks: 20-60%.
