CO2nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 by Aether Industries is polycarbonate polyol produced from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide. It is viscous at low temperatures and can be heated to reduce viscosity. Suitable in the preparation of coatings. It provides hydrolytic stability, UV resistance, mechanical strength, toughness and adhesion to a variety of substrates. It exhibits excellent compatibility with polyester polyols, polyether polyols, isocyanates, chain extenders, surfactants and catalysts used in polyurethane systems. CO2nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 is recommended to warm up the polyol container at 80°C for up to 24 hours prior to use and the product be consumed entirely after opening.
