Titanium Dioxide for Coatings and Inks

TIPAQUE® PFC105 by Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It prevents color fading in organic colorants, ensuring long-lasting vivid colors, while improving aesthetics and maximizing coating life and therefore, increase the value of painted assets.

• TIPAQUE® PFC105 is surface treated with silica, zirconia, alumina, and organic compounds with ISK’s proprietary surface treatment technology.

RUTILE TITANIUM DIOXIDE R6618 (T) distributed by DKSH is a pigment produced by zirconium and aluminum inorganic and organic surface treatment. It has an average particle size distribution. Provides high gloss, high weather resistance and good- whiteness, dispersion and hiding power.

Kronos® 2360 distributed by DKSH is titanium dioxide rutile pigment which is produced by the chloride process and surface treated with aluminum and silicon compounds. It imparts outstanding weather resistance to coatings, shows maximum brightness and a neutral tone in white coatings.

• It produces brilliant, clean tints in colored coatings, is readily wetted and dispersed, gives very high hiding power and tinting strength, produces low haze, high-gloss coatings.
• It is suitable for high-quality, weather-resistant industrial coatings, waterborne coating systems, exterior powder coatings, white and tinted automotive finishes.

Hitox® Gray distributed by DKSH is an unique, high quality, cost effective, gray colored rutile titanium dioxide. It can replace some of the expensive white titanium dioxide in selected formulations. Hitox® Gray is commonly used in paints and coatings (architectural, industrial, metal finishes, powder coating, coil backers, primers, wood coatings and other types of solvent and water-based paints). This product is available in Spain and Portugal.

Kronos® 2310 distributed by DKSH is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment produced by the chloride process and surface treated with aluminum, silicon and zirconium compounds. It exhibits outstanding optical properties and very high weather- and outdoor resistance.

Chroma-chem® 50-990-150 distributed by DKSH is a low-VOC, glycol-free, white-colored pigment dispersion for water-based coatings. Offers excellent pigment development, high pigment loading and good rheological properties.

PRETIOX® RGZW distributed by DKSH is a micronized rutile titanium dioxide. It is an organic and special inorganic surface treatment with aluminum and zirconium compounds, with aluminum ion modification in the crystal structure.

• It possesses an excellent degree of resistance to climatic conditions with a high level of gloss retention, very good optical parameters, colouring power, low specific conductivity and excellent dispersibility.
• It is suitable for the production of water-soluble and solvent-soluble coating materials, such as top varieties of decorative paints and top quality industrial coating systems which require extraordinary resistance to climatic conditions.
• PRETIOX® RGZW is used in paints, air drying and heat curing acrylic and alkyd enamel paints, polyurethane coating materials, powder paints, coil coatings and can coatings.

Chroma-chem® 844-0061 distributed by DKSH is a high performance, non-aqueous white titanium dioxide pigment. It is dispersed in a proprietary acrylic resin vehicle that provides excellent wetting and dispersing properties superior to other acrylic resins available.

• It contains a carefully selected and unique blend of vehicle, solvent, pigment and additives to yield acceptance in a wide range of non-aqueous coatings applications.

Chroma-chem® 824-0082 distributed by DKSH is a white titanium dioxide pigment dispersion. The long-oil alkyd vehicle provides excellent wetting properties. The pigments selected for this colorant offer a wide range of hues, good durability, lightfastness and chemical resistance.

• It contains a carefully selected blend of vehicle, solvent, pigment and additives to provide acceptance in a wide range of solvent based applications.
