Isocyanate Monomers for Coatings and Inks

WANNATE® TL-75E by Wanhua Chemical is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. It has a solvent-like odor and is dissolved approximately 75% in ethyl acetate. It is used in combination with various hydroxyl-bearing substances for the formulation of two-component polyurethane coatings.

• It can be mixed with aliphatic- and aromatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols and polyacrylates.

WANNATE® HMDI by Wanhua Chemical is a liquid cycloaliphatic diisocyanate with low viscosity. It offers good mechanical strength, abrasion- and hydrolysis resistance, and retention of gloss and physical properties upon weathering.

• It forms optically clear polyurethanes in combination with suitable polyol co-reactants.
• WANNATE® HMDI is used in coatings for flooring, roofing, maintenance and textile applications.

WANNATE® HB-75MX by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic biuret polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and dissolved in 25% of 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate (MPA) and xylene (1:1). It exhibits high chemical- and weathering resistance, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties. It can be mixed with aliphatic- and aromatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols and polyacrylates.

• It can be used as the hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings.
• WANNATE® HB-75MX is suitable for automotive refinishing, transportation, industrial finishing and plastic coatings.

WANNATE® TT-150B by Wanhua Chemical is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. It acts as a hardener component for fast-drying, two-component polyurethane coatings. It has a solvent-like odor and is approximately 50% in butyl acetate.

• It can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100 and mixtures thereof.
• It shows compatibility with aliphatic- and aromatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols and polyacrylates.
• WANNATE® TT-150B has a shelf life of 12 months.

WANNATE® BIO PDI by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic pentamethylene diisocyanate. It is a low viscosity and less irritant liquid at room temperature. It is raw material of bio-based polyurethanes. It offers lightfastness, powdering resistance, good color retention, and weathering resistance.

• It exhibits high degree of oil resistance coupled with good wear-resisting.
• It is used in PU varnish, top-grade coatings, car refinishing paint, plastic coating, top-grade wood paint, industrial coating and anti-corrosive coating.
• It is suitable for coating curing agent and collar copolymer coating.
• WANNATE® BIO PDI has a shelf life of at least 9 months when stored at temperatures between 0 and 30°C.

WANNATE® HT-100 by Wanhua Chemical is a solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It can be used as the hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings. It offers high resistance to chemicals and weathering, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties.

• WANNATE® HT-100 is suitable for automotive refinishing, transportation, industrial finishing and plastic coatings.
• It can be mixed with aliphatic- and aromatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols and polyacrylates.

WANNATE® HB-200 by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic biuret polyisocyanate based on 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It can be used as a hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings. It offers high resistance to chemicals and weathering, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties.

• It can be mixed with aliphatic and aromatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols and polyacrylates.
• WANNATE® HB-200 is suitable for automotive refinishing, transportation, industrial finishing and plastic coatings.

WANNATE® HT-3100plus by Wanhua Chemical is a solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It can be used as the hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings. It offers high resistance to chemicals and weathering, excellent gloss retention, and outstanding mechanical properties.

• It is best used with polyacrylates or polyester polyols or alkyd resins as co-reactants.
• It shows compatibility with aliphatic and aromatic polyisocyanates.
• WANNATE® HT-3100plus is recommended for industrial finishing, automotive refinishing, transportation and plastic coatings, especially in high-solids, solvent-free and water-borne systems.

WANNATE® HT-600 by Wanhua Chemical is a low-viscosity, solvent-free, polyfunctional aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It can be used as the hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings. It exhibits high chemical and weathering resistance, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties.

• It shows compatibility with aliphatic- and aromatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols and polyacrylates.
• WANNATE® HT-600 is suitable for automotive- OEM and refinishing, transportation, industrial finishing and plastics coatings.

Aquolin® 278plus by Wanhua Chemical is water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI).

• It exhibits matting effect and excellent water resistance.
• It can be used for waterborne coatings in combination with waterborne polyurethane and polyacrylate.
• It can be used to prepare “solvent-free hardener” in order to produce ultralow VOC coatings because of its low viscosity and ease of hand mixing.
• Aquolin® 278plus is recommended for metal, wood, concrete and wall applications.
