Hyperdispersants for Coatings and Inks

Solsperse™ W90C by Lubrizol is 35% active aqueous polymeric dispersant in water designed to improve pigment dispersion and stability in aqueous paints and inks. It is engineered to enhance stability, and color development in water-based coatings and inks.

• It provides fast wetting, improved coloristic properties, viscosity reduction, dispersion stability, formulation flexibility, and compatibility with a wide range of pigments and resins.
• It delivers strong performance in resin-free systems and especially in resin-containing grinds.
• It supports processing efficiency, long-term performance, and consistent quality in aqueous formulations.
• Solsperse™ W90C is used in aqueous paints, aqueous inks, analog printing inks, digital printing inks, flexographic inks, gravure inks, inkjet inks, building and construction coatings, architectural coatings, and industrial coatings.

Solsperse™ 84510 by Lubrizol is a non-aqueous, polymeric dispersant. It is supplied in methoxy propyl acetate (MPA) and solvent naphtha in a 1:1 ratio. It is designed for dispersing inorganic pigments and fillers into solvent-borne coatings and inks.

• It is engineered to disperse inorganic pigments and fillers, particularly titanium dioxide (TiO₂).
• It is suitable for both solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems.
• Its features include anti-settling performance, dispersant efficiency, fast wetting, and high color strength.
• It shows high pigment loading capability, milling efficiency, particle size reduction, opacity enhancement, and pigment treatment performance.

Solsperse™ 82510 by Lubrizol is a 45% active polymeric dispersant. It offers color development, stability, compatibility with pigments and solvents, high color strength, and high pigment loading.

• It is suitable for a wide range of pigments and fillers in solvent-borne coatings and inks.
• Solsperse™ 82510 is recommended for analog printing inks, building and construction-, protective-, transportation- and industrial coatings.

Hydropalat® 1080 by BASF acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for coatings, aqueous binders, and solvent-free pigment pastes. It is a mono-functional oleo alkylenoxide block copolymer.

• It offers very good pigment wetting and dispersing properties.
• It provides outstanding flow properties even at high pigment load.
• It increases gloss and color intensity.

TEGO® Dispers 760 W distributed by DKSH is a non-ionic wetting and dispersing additive with focus on pigment wetting. Provide high jetness and long-term stability with carbon blacks. Offers reduced viscosity, color intensity & gloss with organic pigment. It is a solvent- and label-free product. It is used in pigment concentrates, can-, coil-, architectural-, decorative-, general industrial coatings and printing inks. It has a shelf life of 12 months. TEGO® Dispers 760 W is available in APAC region (Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Philippines).

TEGO® Dispers 630 distributed by DKSH is a co-flocculating wetting and dispersing additive for inorganic pigments and fillers in solvent borne system. Provides outstanding viscosity reduction with inorganic particles.

• It is used in printing inks, wood-, general industrial-, architectural-, decorative-, can- and coil coatings.
• Recommended usage level in inorganic pigment is 0.5 to 2.5%.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

TEGO® Dispers 752 W distributed by DKSH is an anionic wetting and dispersing additive for transparent iron oxides and titanium dioxide in waterborne formulations. It provides oustanding transparency of transparent iron oxides. It is solvent- and label-free with high pigment loadings.

• It is used in pigment concentrates, can-, coil-, architectural-, decorative-, general industrial-, transportation coatings and printing inks.
• Recommended usage level of inorganic pigment is 5.0 to 66.0%.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

TEGO® Dispers 745 W distributed by DKSH is a wetting and dispersing additive for waterborne formulations. It stabilizes critical organic pigments and carbon blacks in industrial coatings. It shows minimal impact on coating properties. It is used in pigment concentrates, can-, coil-, architectural-, decorative-, general industrial-, transportation coatings, printing inks and liquid inks.

• Recommended usage level of inorganic pigment is 4.0 to 35.0% and organic pigment is 8.0 to 20%.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
• TEGO® Dispers 745 W is available in APAC region (Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Philippines).

TEGO® Dispers 651 distributed by DKSH is a waterborne wetting and dispersing additive specifically used for the production of universal colorant. Provides high pigment loadings possible with inorganic pigments.

• It is free from APEs and solvents.
• It is used in can-, coil-, industrial-, decorative coatings, universal pigment concentrates, architectural paints and printing inks applications.
• Recommended usage level in inorganic pigment is 15.0 to 30.0% and organic pigment 50 to 80%.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

FLUIJET® 1725 by Lamberti is a synthetic polymer-based hyperdispersing agent. It offers high gloss, higher solid content, higher pigment/dye wettability, and resistance to flocculation in time. It is recommended for waterborne and aqueous systems like coatings and inks, based on inorganic, organic pigments, and sublimation dyes as well.

• It is compatible with a broad range and in wide proportions of glycols in aqueous mixtures.
• It maximizes the dispersion behavior in water and mixtures water/polar solvents.
• FLUIJET® 1725 has a shelf life of 12 months.
