Sacoflam 31241 distributed by DKSH is a halogen-free flame retardant. It is a water-based mixture of a polymeric phosphoric acid ester and an organic salt. It is suitable for intumescent systems.

• It is recommended for light-colored applications and coatings, where a neutral pH value is required.

Sacoflam 31240 distributed by DKSH is a halogen-free flame retardant. It is a water-based mixture of a polymeric phosphoric acid ester and phosphoric acid. It is suitable for intumescent systems as a phosphorus-containing synergist.

• It is particularly used for light-colored applications and coatings.
• Sacoflam 31240 is available in Europe.

Sacoflam 31201 distributed by DKSH is a halogen-free, water-based flame retardant. It is based on a composition of organic phosphates. It is suitable for the impregnation of wood veneers and natural insulating materials.

• It is also used in intumescent systems.
• Sacoflam 31201 is available in Europe.

TARGON® G 3 by ICL is a secondary retarder based on condensed phosphates with anticaking agent. It is a free-flowing powder, even at high humidity. In formulations with an alkaline pH value, it works with tartaric acid. In formulations with a neutral pH, it works with citric acid.

• It helps to achieve constant setting, prolong working time, and improve the finish treating qualities.
• It shows dispersing effect on the solid content of the plaster.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.3%, related to bonding agent.
• TARGON® G 3 has a shelf life of 2 years.

Phosflex® 71B by ICL is a mixture of butylated (primarily monotbutylphenyl) triphenyl phosphate ester made from readily available synthetic feedstock. It is an effective flame-retardant plasticizer. Exhibits high thermal stability and improved melt flow characteristics. Shows good compatibility in PVC and other plastics such as modified PPO and PC/ABS alloys. Phosflex® 71B is also suitable for paint and coating intumescent and non-intumescent epoxy systems. It provides improved flame retardancy to non-intumescent system combined with brominated flame retardants. For intumescent systems, addition of Phosflex® 71B as plasticizer modifies the initial liquid/viscous matrix and the resulting char.

ADINS® Clay G1 by Tolsa act as a flame retardant synergistic additive in halogen-free systems with different flame retardants. It is based on organically modified special silicates and boron. It enhances the performance of fire retardants which allows to reduce its content, maintaining the flame retardancy behavior, improving processability and mechanical properties. ADINS® Clay G1 can be used in coatings and paints for water and solvent based systems.

TexFRon® 5001 by ICL is a phosphorus-based flame retardant. It is a non-halogenated oligomer effective in 100% solids and solvent based systems. It offers low viscosity and forms a translucent film. It works as stand alone or in combinations with brominated flame retardant for paint and coating systems. It is compatible with PU, acrylic and epoxies. TexFRon® 5001 is Oeko-Tex approved.

TexFRon® 4002 by ICL is a polymeric brominated, fine powder flame retardant additive for paint and coating systems. It reduces tackiness in the final film. Provides good pH stability and easy incorporation in common binder systems. It is suitable to a variety of technology and chemistries, while maintaining film properties and flame retardancy. It is easily applied in the different system while providing translucent appearance. Recommended for water-based, powder coating, 100% solids and solvent-based coatings. TexFRon® 4002 is the first brominated compound that is Oeko-Tex approved.

LaqFRon® 40 by ICL is an aqueous dispersion of brominated acrylate particles prepared by emulsion polymerization. It is easily formulated flame retardant additive for paint and coating water-based systems. Provides low viscosity and forms a transparent film. LaqFRon® 40 is specifically designed as a binder with flame retardant properties for coatings resulting with improved adhesion properties compared to other FR additives.

Phosflex® 390 by ICL is isodecyl diphenyl phosphate made from synthetic feedstock. It is a highly efficient plasticizer for PVC with very good low temperature flexibility and excellent solvating properties for fast fusion. It has an ability to reduce flammability while also reducing smoke. Phosflex® 390 can also be added to various paint systems. It is suitable for water-based, 100% solids and solvent-based coatings.
