Wacker to raise prices for resins and dispersions by up to 15%
Last update on May 14, 2026
Formulators and procurement professionals sourcing resins, dispersions, and dispersible polymer powders from Wacker Group will face price increases of up to 15%, effective June 1, 2026, or as customer contracts allow. The adjustment applies to products sourced from Wacker's production sites in Europe and the USA.
The price adjustment has been necessitated by rising costs for raw materials and logistics. The company attributes the increase to significant distortions in commodity markets worldwide, linked to the conflict in the Middle East, which has led to increased prices for energy, raw materials, and logistics. Wacker states that its global polymers business is affected by this development.
