PPG wins 2026 Ringier award for low-temperature cure e-coat

PPG announced that its PPG ENVIRO-PRIME® EPIC low-temperature cure electro-coat (e-coat) primer was named “Innovative Coating of the Year” at the 2026 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards, held recently in Minhang, Shanghai. The awards recognize advancements in the coatings industry that drive progress in performance, sustainability and application efficiency.

PPG Enviro-Prime EPIC e-coat delivers corrosion protection, process efficiency and improved environmental performance for automotive and industrial applications. Its lower curing temperatures help reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions while maintaining strong durability and finish quality.
