Polyimides from Evonik access expands across European markets

Formulators and engineers working on high-temperature or chemically demanding applications can now access Evonik's P84® polymide range through Safic-Alcan, following a new distribution agreement between the two companies.
Distribution scope and material profile
The agreement covers P84® powders and solutions across twelve markets: Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. It extends the existing relationship between Safic-Alcan and multiple Evonik business lines in Europe.
P84® polyimides are suited to applications that require thermal stability, chemical resistance, and mechanical durability. Documented use cases include high-temperature coatings, anti-friction coatings, automotive and aerospace components, abrasive tools, and wear-resistant sliding elements in the glass processing industry.
