Kuraray to End Production & Sale of Acrylic Block Copolymer

Kuraray announces its decision to end the production and sale of KURARITY™ acrylic block copolymer. Due to the ongoing harshness of the business environment, its difficult to secure sufficient profit to sustain and maintain the operations.

To Cease by End of June 2026

Since the commercialization of KURARITY™ in 2012, Kuraray has striven to expand operations related to this product by releasing variations suitable for a diverse range of applications. However, due to the ongoing harshness of the business environment, it will be extremely difficult to secure sufficient profit to sustain these operations and maintain stable production going forward.

Accordingly, Kuraray will cease the production of KURARITY™ at the end of June 2026.

Kuraray extends their wholehearted gratitude to their business partners and other stakeholders for their longstanding patronage of the KURARITY™ business and sincerely ask for their understanding.
