Ingevity to present polycaprolactone polyols at ACS 2026

Last update on May 1, 2026

Formulators working on two-component polyurethane coatings for demanding substrates can evaluate Capa® polycaprolactone (PCL) polyols from Ingevity at the American Coatings Show and Conference in Indianapolis, IN, running May 5–7, 2026.

You can review the Capa® polyol range and assess technical fit for your formulation work directly in the Master Catalog of Coatings.

Improve adhesion to difficult-to-bond substrates

Ingevity positions Capa® PCL polyols as tunable modifiers designed to improve adhesion to difficult-to-bond substrates while maintaining long-term durability in 2K PU coating systems. According to the company, the latest generation also addresses sustainability criteria alongside performance requirements, though no independent data has been provided at this stage.

During the conference, Shaun Birss of Ingevity will present 'Polycaprolactone Polyols for Adhesion Control: From Design to Evaluation', covering how Capa® polyols are evaluated for adhesion control across relevant substrate types. Ingevity indicates that a new development will be introduced publicly for the first time at the event, details have not yet been disclosed.

The Ingevity Capa® team will be available for direct technical discussions at booth 834 throughout the exhibition.
