Enables switching between UV and LED curing modes

The 5-roll system allows formulators to conduct more precise formulation testing and process optimization, reflecting customer production line configurations and performance more closely than before. The system also supports flexibility for customized project development and smoother scale-up from lab development to commercial production.

"This investment reflects our commitment to customer-centric innovation," said Jared Bender, head of Product Line Agriculture & Specialties at Evonik Interface & Polyurethane Additives. "This advancement allows us to better support customer-specific projects, from early-stage feasibility studies to full production validation."

The system is also equipped with a UV/LED inert curing unit, enabling switching between UV and LED curing modes. This supports the industry's increasing adoption of LED curing technologies, which are associated with lower energy consumption, reduced emissions, and improved operational efficiency compared with conventional systems.
