Strategic expansion in Brazilian markets

Bermocoll® is a group of non-ionic, water-soluble cellulose ethers used in industrial applications as performance enhancers, thickeners, and stabilizers, suited to both dry-mix mortars and paints. Application areas include paints and coatings, where Bermocoll® provides flow and viscosity control, and construction and building, where it is used to optimize material performance.

"I consider Brenntag a strategic partner for the distribution of Bermocoll® in the paints and inks segment in Brazil. As a global distributor of chemical products, with solid experience in marketing Nouryon solutions in various countries and markets, Brenntag offers broad market coverage, qualified technical support, and logistical excellence, which contributes to adding even more value to the paints and coatings supply chain," said Christian Hainfellner, account manager, Nouryon.

"We are very enthusiastic about this new partnership, which will expand our presence in the paint and coatings market through a strengthened portfolio of high-performance cellulose ethers. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to delivering consistent value, high quality materials, and differentiated technical services. Together, we are well positioned to support our customers with enhanced solutions, reliable supply, and expertise that drives performance across the coatings value chain," said Marcelo Barros, senior director, Material Science, Brenntag Specialties Latin America.
