Biocoat launches hydrophilic coating facility in Denmark

Biocoat Incorporated, a hydrophilic coatings provider for medical devices, announces the official opening of Copenhagen Coating Services, its new European facility dedicated to feasibility testing and coating services. Located in Denmark’s capital, the site marks Biocoat’s first physical presence in Europe, giving customers faster, more cost-effective access to its world-class expertise.
Strategic expansion in European market
With this expansion, Biocoat becomes the only hydrophilic coating company in Europe to offer both UV and Thermal coatings with inner diameter (ID) coating capabilities, a critical advantage for medical device manufacturers developing next-generation interventional catheters, guidewires, and other minimally invasive devices.
