Carbopol® EP-2 by Lubrizol is an efficient alkali swellable emulsion thickener. Compatible with Lubrizol Hycar® acrylic emulsions, PrintRite® acrylic emulsions, Vycar® PVC emulsions, HyStretch® elastomeric emulsions and Stycar™ emulsions. Exhibits long and leggy rheology, high efficiency and good electrolyte (salt) stability. It stirs directly into latex under low shear and develops viscosity upon addition of neutralizing base. Carbopol® EP-2 is used in emulsion polymer compounds and adhesives. It can be used alone or in conjunction with Carbopol® EP-1 thickener for optimum rheology. Carbopol® ETD 2623 by Lubrizol is a crosslinked hydrophobically modified acrylic acid polymer. Acts as a faster hydrating rheology modifier in surfactant containing systems. It is designed to impart thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties to a variety of household applications. It exhibits good clarity, electrolyte compatibility and resistance to ions and medium yield value. It offers resistance to the formation of lumps when dispersed in water. Carbopol® ETD 2623 has a shelf life of 2 years. Carbopol® 676 by Lubrizol acts as a suspension agent and aids in rheology modification. It is a highly crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer.
