SYLVAROS™ DRS 214 by KRATON acts as a dispersing agent. It is potassium salt of disproportionated rosin. It can be used as emulsifier in the polymerization process of styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, polychloroprene and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene plastics. SYLVAROS™ DRS 214 is used in the adhesive industry to improve properties of adhesives on basis of casein or polymer dispersion. SYLVAROS™ PR R-85 by KRATON is polymerized rosin based tackifier. It is used in pressure sensitive adhesives, construction adhesives, pick up gums for labeling and adhesion promoter for difficult-to-bond substrates. SYLVAROS™ PR R by KRATON is a modified tall oil rosin. Acts as a tackifier in adhesives. Offers good color stability. SYLVAROS™ PR R increases resistance to crystallization. SYLVAROS™ PR 295 by KRATON is a polymerized rosin based tackifier. Possesses good adhesion at low temperatures. Used in hot melt adhesives for case and carton sealing (solvent and hot-melt adhesives), general packaging hot melt adhesives, label adhesives as well as pick-up gums. SYLVAROS™ PR 295 can be used with EVA, PE and many elastomers to give good specific adhesion without a major loss of cohesive strength.
