Capcure® 3850-101 by Huntsman is a medium viscosity, catalyzed mercaptan epoxy curing agent. This low color- & odor grade is designed specifically for rapid cure in the 3-5 minute range at room temperature. It is a formaldehyde-free, DOT and non-corrosive grade. It may be used both, as a sole curing agent or as an accelerator for amine and amide or amido-amine curative chemistries. It displays excellent low temperature capability and excellent resistance to film bloom or blush low toxicity. Capcure® 3850-101 is suitable for fast-set, road marker- & industrial adhesives, jewelry & craft adhesive cure and acceleration of epoxy adhesive cure. Capcure® 3-800 by Huntsman is a mercaptan (-SH) terminated, curing agent. It can also be used to accelerate other epoxy curing agents, such as amines, polyamides and amidoamines. It imparts rapid-cure characteristics to epoxy resins in combination with selected amines. It provides rapid cure rates at low temperatures, and in thin films. This grade displays low toxicity and excellent color. It is used in road marker- & industrial adhesives, jewelry & craft adhesive cure and acceleration of epoxy adhesive cure. The shelf life of Capcure® 3-800 is 24 months. Capcure® 3830-81 by Huntsman is a medium viscosity, low toxicity, catalyzed mercaptan epoxy curing agent. Capcure® 40 SEC HV by Huntsman is a mercaptan-based, epoxy hardener. When used in a 1:1 ratio with a standard bisphenol-A epoxy resin (DGEBA EEW 190), it provides gel time of 40 seconds, in a 20-g mass at 25°C. It provides the fastest cure of mercaptan curing agents, improves bonds to glass and metal, and eliminates induction times of polyamides and amido-amines. It is used in road marker- & industrial adhesives, jewelry & craft adhesive cure and acceleration of epoxy adhesive cure. The shelf life Capcure® 40 SEC HV is 24 months. Capcure® LOF by Huntsman is a curing agent for epoxy adhesives. It may be used as an accelerator for amine, amide or amido-amine chemistries. It is a low odor & low skinning uncatalyzed polymercaptan. It possesses low toxicity and dot non-corrosive. It provides fast-set films, good resistance to film bloom or blush and good acceleration. Capcure® LOF offers good low temperature capability. Capcure® WR-6 by Huntsman is a pre-catalyzed mercaptan-based epoxy hardener. It possesses good physical properties, improved moisture resistance and low viscosity. This grade provides fast gel times even in thin films at below freezing temperatures, rapid cure and increased gloss. Capcure® WR-6 is used in automotive-, construction- and industrial adhesives.
