Surfynol® AS 5080 by Evonik is a 100% active non-ionic organic super wetter and defoamer. It is based on patented gemini surfactant technology. It is a low viscosity, easy-to handle liquid that contains no added silicones, siloxanes, fluorosurfactants, alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).<br>

It acts as an anti-static agent, emulsifier and wetting agent. It is an anionic surfactant, miscible with non-ionic, amphoteric and other anionic products. It has good oil solubility and antistatic properties. It is an easy-to handle liquid and is soluble in water at low concentrations.<br>

It complies with food contact regulations of US, Europe and Asia. It has a shelf life of 60 months. Surfynol® AS 5100 by Evonik is a dynamic wetting agent and defoamer. It provides excellent reduction of equilibrium and dynamic surface tensions as well as excellent wetting of silicone release liners and other low-energy surfaces. It offers good coverage without retraction and ease of addition with no gel formation. Surfynol® AS 5100 is used in flexible food packaging-, pressure sensitive- and laminating adhesives. It is in compliance with FDA and other food contact. It has a shelf life of 60 months. Surfynol® AS 5000 by Evonik is a non-ionic gemini wetting agent, surfactant and molecular defoamer. It provides multifunctional properties such as surface tension reduction, improved flow, foam control and viscosity stabilization. The hydrophobic nature of Surfynol® AS 5000 can result in significantly reduced water sensitivity. It contains no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs), silicones or fluorosurfactants. It prevents surface defect problems such as fisheyes, crawling and cratering on low energy substrates. It is suitable for waterborne applications. It is used in flexible food packaging adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, pigment manufacture and dispersions. Its recommended usage is between 0.10 and 1.5% of total formulation weight. It is listed on EINECS, TSCA, DSL, TCSI, AICS, ENCS, TCCL, PICCS, IECSC and NZIOC chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 60 months. Surfynol® AS 5120 by Evonik is a wetting agent and defoamer. It offers dynamic wetting without generating excess foam over the most difficult surfaces including silicone release liners. It does not contain added mineral oils, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs) or acetylenic diols. It is a low odor surfactant and provides excellent surface tension reduction. It can be easily incorporated into water-based systems. Surfynol® AS 5120 is used in pigment dispersions, flexible food packaging adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives. Its recommended usage is between 0.1 and 1.0 % of total formulation weight. It is in compliance with food contact regulations of US, Europe and Asia. It has a shelf life of 60 months. Surfynol® 104A by Evonik is a non-ionic dynamic wetting agent, surfactant and molecular defoamer. It offers improved flow, surface tension reduction, foam control and viscosity stabilization. The hydrophobic nature of this grade can result in significantly reduced water sensitivity compared to either conventional ethoxylated or anionic surfactants. It is used in water-borne carpet-backing adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives. It contains no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs), silicones or fluorosurfactants. Surfynol® 104A has the ability to wet contaminated substrates. It prevents surface defect problems such as fisheyes, crawling and cratering on low energy substrates. It has a shelf life of 60 months. Recommended use level lies between 0.1 to 1.0% of total formulation weight. Surfynol® 104S by Evonik acts as a non-ionic surfactant with good wetting and defoaming properties. It is used in water borne carpet backing adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives. Surfynol® 104S offers benefits such as reduced water sensitivity and improved flow.
