Bentone® 27 by Elementis acts as a rheology modifier for medium to high polarity systems and synthetic binders. It is an organic derivative of a hectorite clay. It increases viscosity and imparts thixotropy. It provides sag resistance on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates.<br>

Provides thermostable aqueous phase viscosity control and promotes fast water release. Imparts thixotropy and enhances texturing and stippling effects. Prevents hard settlement of pigments/ fillers and reduces syneresis. It offers excellent sag stability & slump control, outstanding workability and high amount of elasticity. It minimizes floating and flooding of pigments. BENTONE® EW is designed for adhesive applications. It is suitable for the formulation of acrylic sealants. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0%. It has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture. Bentone® DE by Elementis is a highly beneficiated, hyperdispersible hectorite clay-based rheological additive for waterborne systems. It offers good spatter resistance, excellent pigment suspension and sprayability. It provides very good syneresis control, low dispersion energy for complete activation.<br>
