Bentone SD® -2 by Elementis acts as a rheological additive. It is an organic derivative of bentonite clay. It disperses very easily, even under low shear conditions.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides stable viscosity build, controls sag & pigment settling.</li> <li>It is a cost-effective replacement for conventional organoclay additives.</li> <li>It is easy to incorporate and can be added dry to the pigment grinding process without requiring the use of a chemical activator or the preparation of a pregel.</li> <li>It may be used for post correction after letdown.</li> <li>Bentone SD® -2 is used in polyester repair putties, adhesives and sealants.</li> <li>It is designed for use in moderate to high polarity systems containing solvents such a ketones, esters, glycol ethers & alcohols, including polar systems with some aromatic solvents.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level is 0.2-1.0%.</li> <li>It has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul>
