BENAQUA® by Elementis is a range of hectorite clay-based rheological additives used as easily dispersible powders in tile adhesives, water-borne adhesives, grouts, mortars, and other cementitious systems. The portfolio is especially suited to dry systems where water is added prior to use, providing high viscosity in the low- to medium-shear-rate region to control flow and application performance.

BENAQUA® 4000 by Elementis is a polymer modified clay-based rheological modifier. It is an easily dispersible powder designed for water-borne, ready mixed & powder adhesives, mastics and sealants.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides excellent suspension and high viscosity in the low to medium-shear-rate region.</li> <li>Offers superior sag resistance at low package viscosity compared with conventional thickeners as well as improved shear-thinning rheology.</li> <li>It has good storage stability at elevated temperature, freeze/thaw stability and enzyme resistance.</li> <li>It gives very good suspension, efficient spray atomization, minimized mud cracking, enhanced textured and stippling effects.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level is 0.3-2.0% by weight.</li> <li>BENAQUA® 4000 has a shelf life of 2 years.</li></ul>
