It is particularly suitable for adhesives on the basis of epoxy and polyurethane resin. Its recommended levels are 0.5-1.5% based upon fillers.

DISPERBYK® -190

by BYK

DISPERBYK® -190 by BYK is a solution of a high molecular weight block copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as wetting and dispersing agent. It does not contain organic solvents and deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments and fillers. DISPERBYK® -190 reduces viscosity, subsequently, leveling is improved and higher pigment loading is possible. It is recommended for aqueous adhesives and suitable for epoxy, PUR systems. Its recommended levels are 20 - 30% inorganic pigments, 10 – 12% titanium dioxide, 30 – 75% organic pigments, 130 – 150% carbon blacks and 1 – 3% fillers.

DISPERBYK® -192

by BYK

DISPERBYK® -192 by BYK is a copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as wetting and dispersing agent. It deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments and fillers. DISPERBYK® -192 reduces viscosity, subsequently, leveling is improved and higher pigment loading is possible. It can be used for treatment of inorganic and organic pigments, leading to an easier and more stable incorporation of these pigments into aqueous systems. It is suitable for epoxy systems and recommended for PUR systems. Its recommended levels are 5 - 10% inorganic pigments, 4 - 7% titanium dioxide, 15 - 30% organic pigments, 30 - 50% carbon blacks and 1 – 3% fillers.

DISPERBYK® -191

by BYK

DISPERBYK® -191 by BYK is a copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as wetting and dispersing agent. It deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments and fillers. DISPERBYK® -191 reduces viscosity, subsequently, leveling is improved and higher pigment loading is possible. It is used for aqueous adhesives and suitable for epoxy, PUR systems. Its recommended levels are 6 - 13% inorganic pigments, 4 - 7% titanium dioxide, 19 - 50% organic pigments, 30 - 90% carbon blacks and 1 – 3% fillers.

DISPERBYK® -2015

by BYK

DISPERBYK® -2015 by BYK is a VOC- and solvent-free wetting and dispersing agent. DISPERBYK® -199

by BYK

DISPERBYK® -199 by BYK is a solution of a copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as polymeric wetting and dispersing agent. It is APEO- and amine-free. DISPERBYK® -199 is a cost-effective alternative to commonly used dispersants (e.g. Na+ and NH4+ salted polyacrylic acids). It reduces viscosity, subsequently, leveling is improved and higher pigment load is possible. This high molecular weight additive is used in aqueous systems for deflocculation and stabilization of inorganic and organic pigments. Its recommended levels are 10 – 30% inorganic pigments, 2.5 - 7.5% titanium dioxide, 37.5 – 100% organic pigments and 75 – 125% carbon blacks based upon pigment.

DISPERBYK® -180

by BYK

DISPERBYK® -180 by BYK is an alkylolammonium salt of a copolymer with acidic groups. Acts as high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent. Provides equal electrical charge to pigments and thus avoids possible co-flocculation of pigments that are not equally charged. Due to the small particle sizes of the deflocculated pigments, high gloss is achieved and color strength is improved. Additionally, transparency and hiding power are increased. This product reduces viscosity, subsequently, leveling is improved and higher pigment loading is possible. DISPERBYK® -180 is used in solvent-borne and water-borne adhesives. Recommended levels are inorganic pigments 5-10% and titanium dioxide 1.5-2.5%.
