Zetpol® 2020 by Zeon Chemical is hydrogenated nitrile elastomer (HNBR). It exhibits an excellent balance between static heat resistance and dynamic hysteresis. It provides superior service in tough environment applications. It shows much higher resistance than NBR elastomers to heat, sour gasoline, and ozone as well as retention of properties at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 160°C. It displays lower brittleness temperature than NBR with the same volume swell in gasoline, is more cost-effective than FKM and exhibits minimal deterioration when exposed to special oil additives. Zetpol® 2020 is suitable for seals, rolls, belts and oil field components. It is also applicable in adhesives compounding.
