HELOXY™ Modifier 65 by Westlake Epoxy is a viscosity modifier. It is a commercial grade, glycidyl ether of para-tertiary butyl phenol. It is suitable for epoxy applications requiring combinations of good electrical properties, low viscosity, low volatility and low odor levels.
- As with any monoepoxide, use of this grades as a modifier reduces the average epoxide functionality of the epoxy system, thereby lowering cured state chemical and solvent resistance and thermal performance.
- HELOXY™ Modifier 65 has a shelf life of 5 years.
