HDK® H20RH

Supplied byWacker- Last Updated on Jan 24, 2025

HDK® H20RH by Wacker is a hydrophobic silica that has been treated with alkylsilane. Acts as a rheological modifier. Possesses excellent storage stability in basic systems and is ideal as a thickening agent for use in amine hardeners of two-component adhesives and jointing compounds. The silicone-fluid-free additive features exceptional rheological activity in polar systems and prolongs the shelf life, even at high pH values. Further applications of HDK® H20RH include automotive adhesives and half-shell bonding in wind turbines. It is a white, amorphous powder of low density and large specific surface area. Can give jointing compounds favorable pull-off characteristics. It also features good wetting properties.
