ELASTOSIL® N9189 by Wacker is a non-slump one-component RTV-1 silicone rubber. It cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture to yield flexible silicone rubber with good heat resistance and slight electrical conductivity.
- It may continously be exposed to constantly changing climatic conditions, sunlight and temperature as high as 200°C (392°F) without damage.
- It shows long-term stability against weathering, moisture and UV radiation.
- It exhibits strong shear-thinning with a soft-pasty consistency and medium hardness.
- It shows no inhibition effect on platinum-catalyzed silicones.
- It operates within a recommended service temperature range from -45°C to +200°C.
- It is alkoxy-curable, self-adhesive, uses tin-free catalysis and provides excellent adhesion to many substrates.
