EkaSol 1 by TBF Environmental Technology is an earth friendly environmentally compliant green solvent. It is designed as VOC- and NPRI-exempt, safe, benzene-free, efficient, cost effective and as a replacement for methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) & acetone. Also found to be non-carcinogenic, with no hazardous air pollutants, environmental hazardous ingredients or ozone depleting chemicals. Exhibits high purity, excellent solvency, improved flow characteristics, high loading capacity and is shaped to be more efficient in viscosity reduction than MEK and acetone. It dries completely and leaves no surface residue. Designed to be efficient and versatile. It is also non-toxic, as well as biodegradable in nature. Applications include adhesives. EkaSol 1 carries the favorable FEMA GRAS (Flavor and Extracts Manufacturers Association - Generally Regarded as safe) designation by the food and drug administration.
