BerdeSol™ by TBF Environmental Technology is a safe, low toxicity alternative for heptane, aromatic 100, cyclohexane, methyl amyl ketone (MAK), perchloroethylene and butyl acetate. Acts as a benzene-free, non-carcinogenic, biodegradable, clean air primary or co-solvent. It has a very low Maximum Incremental Reactivity (MIR) value and does not contain any hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and environmentally hazardous ingredients as well as ozone depleting or creating chemicals. Exhibits higher flash point, lesser flammability, very low toxicity, comparable physio-chemical characteristics, similar evaporation rate and surface tension, dispersion properties, greater solvency & solubility, improved flow characteristics, high loading capacity and 15-30% more efficiency in viscosity reduction to heptanes & other solvents requiring less solvent and decreasing costs. It is easy to distill, recycle, dries completely and leaves no surface residues. Suitable for adhesives used in industrial applications. BerdeSol™ is VOC-compliant in US and Canada and considered an Ultra-low VOC in South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and CARB - California Air Resources Board.
