Synthebond™ SP-254 by Synthomer is an aqueous dispersion containing 30% polyester polymer solids. It is designed to enhance tensile strength, rigidity and moldability of nonwoven substrates. Exhibits excellent adhesion to polyester fibers thus improving dimensional stability and abrasion resistance. Imparts a firm hand to treated substrates which can later be redispersed in hot water or made durable with the addition of crosslinking melamine type resins. Synthebond™ SP-254 is used in adhesives. It is available for use in the US.
