Cymel® 481 by Syensqo is a high solids aqueous solution of a methylated melamine-formaldehyde resin. It possesses a very fast catalyzed cure response. It is suitable for many binder applications. It modifies other water-soluble or dispersible resins. It promotes water-resistance, hardness and punk-proof properties. Cymel® 481 impregnates and laminates various synthetic and natural fibers.
