Abex® 2005

Abex® 2005 by Syensqo is a specially formulated, APEO- & formaldehyde-free surfactant. It acts as a primary anionic emulsifier for making extremely small particles in all acrylic and styrene acrylic latex systems. It is highly effective as steric and electrostatic stabilizer for emulsion polymerization. Offers excellent particle size (=/<100 nm) control, excellent emulsion- and mechanical stability. It provides exceptional clean reaction with minimum grit issues. Abex® 2005 is used in adhesives. It is user friendly and easy to handle grade. Recommended usage level is 0.5-2.0% (BOTM) based on particle size target. It is listed with FDA 21 CFR 175.105.
