EVATANE® 28-03 by SK Functional Polymer is ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. Used in the manufacture of hot melt adhesives. Provides softness, flexibility and polarity. It is made by high-pressure radicle polymerization process. Exhibits high cohesive strength and can be used to produce masterbatches or HFFR compounds. It is also suitable for film (cast or blown) extrusion, and shows good adhesion onto PE, PS and polyesters. EVATANE® 28-03 can also be used for making foams (shoe industry), as an additive for crude oil (pour point depressant). It has a shelf life of 2 years.
