LOWINOX® TBM-6 by SI Group is a non-staining and non-discoloring hindered thiophenol antioxidant. It is used as an effective anti-skinning agent for hot melt adhesives. It can be used as an anti-scorching agent for polyurethanes during condensation of TDI on polyester, as a heat stabilizer and as an antioxidant in HDPE and LDPE. It provides high resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation and wash-out, very good compatibility with peroxides and great synergism with carbon black. LOWINOX® TBM-6 can be used as a polymerization and processing stabilizer for PP, ABS, PVC, EPDM elastomers and polybutadienes.
