Vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer. Exhibits excellent chemical (acids, alkalis and brine) resistance, strong adhesiveness, toughness and plasticity. Contains other polar groups as well and lacks odor & taste. Also exhibits high resistance to water penetration. It is mixable with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) paste. Strongly adheres to metals. Dissolves in ketones and esters. Highly compatible with urethane and melamine resins. Applications include automobile sealants.
