Resi4TEX by ResiCare is an aromatic aldehyde-, water-based phenolic novolac resin that does not contain measurable SVHC (free of components meeting substance of very high concern criteria as defined by the ECHA), formaldehyde, resorcinol, phenol and isocyanates.
- It is a substitute of RF (resorcinol-formaldehyde) resins.
- It is recommended for a large diversity of latex and additives historically used in resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex adhesive systems.
- It is compatible with natural rubber-, styrene-butadiene rubber- & styrene-butadiene-vinyl pyridine latex, caprolactame blocked isocyanate and antifoaming agent.
- Adhesive systems based on Resi4TEX can be suitable for fibers used in reinforcement textiles for rubber application such as PET, nylon 6-6, nylon 6, aramid, rayon, glass fiber, etc.
- Its curing time is similar to RF resins.
- It has a shelf life of more than 12 hours.
