POP (Para octyl phenol) formaldehyde resin (Novolac). Acts as a tackifying, non heat reactive thermoplastic alkyl phenolic resin for adhesives. It is designed to develop high tack levels in rubber compounds and provides tack in elastomers that are ususally difficult to tackify. Has applications in rubber adhesives.
