Alcogum® SL 117 by Nouryon is acrylate-based emulsion copolymer. It acts as HASE rheology modifier. It is supplied at 30% active solids in water. It possesses shear thinning flow characteristics. It is compatible with anionic and non-ionic surfactants. It is effective in low solids systems. It can be added as the last ingredient prior to neutralization. Its dilution with water can facilitate incorporation in viscous and/or alkaline formulations. It exhibits association with other formulations components and synergistic interaction with non-ionic surfactants. Alcogum® SL 117 is applicable for adhesive formulations.
