UV-1164 by MPI Chemie is triazine UV absorber. It provides excellent UV protection for PET backsheet films. It offers outstanding UV durability for PC through its excellent UV and heat stability combined with its good chemical resistance. It is based on 2-(4,6-bis-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-5-(octyloxy)-phenol. It is available as light yellow powder. UV-1164 can be used in adhesives.
