Silquest™ A-171 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is a cross-linker for organic polymers. It shows resistance towards moisture, chemicals and UV. It allows free radical addition to polymers and increases the rate of silane hydrolysis. It bonds to inorganic substrates to provide excellent wet and dry adhesion. Silquest™ A-171 Silane may also be useful as a moisture scavenger in moisture cure systems where enhanced shelf-life is sought.
