EP42HT-2Med by Master Bond is a moderate-viscosity, two-component epoxy (EP) system. It cures rapidly and has low shrinkage upon curing and good flow. It exhibits good light transmission characteristics, good processability, electrical and thermal insulation. It contains no solvents or diluents and bonds well with metals, composite, glass rubbers and plastics.
  • It offers good resistance to many chemicals, such as acids, bases and solvents, ethylene oxide, radiation and repeated sterilization, including autoclaving.
  • It is multifunctional for bonding, sealing and potting applications.
  • Suitable for medical device assembly manufacturing, especially for endoscopes, surgical instruments, and other devices that receive repeated sterilization.
  • The shelf life of EP42HT-2Med is 6 months.
  • It is RoHS compliant, USP Class VI approved and passes ISO 10993-5 regulation for Cytotoxicity.
